Woodwind Orchestra Play Day
Having now completed it's fourth year, the Woodwind Orchestra Play Day is becoming an important annual event in the diaries of many woodwind players across the United Kingdom. Using premiere venues and tutors, the day offers an experience to musicians at many levels to play in a unique massed ensemble of woodwind instruments.
The tutors for 2012 included Keiron Anderson, Paul Harris, Richard Ingham, Shea Lolin, John Holland, James Rae and Chris Swann. Open to all orchestral woodwind instruments, the Day consists of playing through original repertoire and arrangements for woodwind orchestra. There are also trade stands from music shops, publishers and distributors of all products involved in playing an instrument.
